Steven joined Brownlee LLP’s Insurance Litigation Team in December 2024. He is an associate specializing in insurance, civil, and commercial litigation. Steven has a Bachelor in Kinesiology with a minor in Commerce from UBC in 2012 and a J.D. from the University of Saskatchewan in 2016.
Steven has represented clients in trials in British Columbia Supreme Court and Provincial Court. He has also represented clients in appeals before Saskatchewan’s Workers’ Compensation Board Appeal Tribunal and the Saskatchewan Court of Appeal.
Before becoming a lawyer, Steven coached youth basketball in Vancouver for eight years, reflecting his competitive nature and leadership skills. In his free time, he enjoys photography and has received recognition for his work as a prize-winning photographer.
