CONNECT WITH ME

Sarah completed her law studies at the University of Alberta and is now gaining practical experience as an Articling Student at Brownlee LLP. Her journey with the firm began in the summer of 2023 when she joined as a summer student, which allowed her to familiarize herself with the firm’s operations and build a solid foundation for her current role.

Sarah was the Chief Tribune of the Discipline, Interpretation, and Enforcement Board at the University of Alberta for over two years.

She also volunteered as an executive member with the Law and Business Association throughout her law degree, contributing to the intersection of law and business.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Sarah has been deeply involved in community service. She previously volunteered with a shelter that rehabilitates injured and orphaned wild animals, showcasing her commitment to animal welfare. Her passion for helping animals also extended to her work with Taffy’s Legacy Canine Rescue and Rehabilitation, where she actively contributed to the care and recovery of rescued dogs.

Sarah continues to love animals and currently has two family cats. As a pescatarian, she maintains a lifestyle that reflects her respect for animal welfare. She hopes to volunteer with animals again in the future.

REPRESENTATIVE WORK

As an Articling Student, Sarah gets hands-on experience in all our practice areas, helping her build and sharpen the practical skills needed to become a lawyer.

WHY LAW

From a young age, I have been interested in solving challenging problems. Combined with my strengths in writing and communication, I felt that the practice of law would be a great career. I am excited to help others find solutions to their problems, while also learning from the wonderful lawyers at Brownlee LLP.
