Sarah Holder graduated from Nottingham Law School in 1999 with an LLB (Honours) in Law with German, and completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Chester in 2001.
She was admitted to the Roll of the Law Society of England and Wales in 2003 and subsequently practiced defence insurance litigation in the field of industrial injury and occupational disease – for both insured and self-insured clients. Having moved to Canada from England with her family in 2018, Sarah undertook the National Committee on Accreditation’s examinations, and then completed her articles in order to requalify as a lawyer in Canada. Sarah was called to the Alberta Bar in 2022.
Since living in Calgary, Sarah has volunteered with the Calgary Public Library, Calgary Food Bank and the Girl Guides of Canada, along with other events in her local community. In her free time, Sarah enjoys attending the theatre, hiking in the mountains, cooking, and spending time with her family.
Sarah is a member of the Calgary Bar Association and the Alberta branch of the Association of Women Lawyers.
