Olivia completed her law studies at the University of Alberta and is now gaining practical experience as an Articling Student at Brownlee LLP. She earned both her Juris Doctor and Bachelor of Commerce degrees from the University of Alberta. During law school, she developed a strong interest in corporate commercial law, construction litigation, and real estate.
These areas connect well with her business background and her interest in the intersection of law and commerce.
She first joined Brownlee as a 1L summer student in the Edmonton office, where she worked on a range of legal matters and appreciated the supportive and collaborative environment. That experience played a big part in her decision to return for her articles.
Outside of work, Olivia enjoys hiking, backcountry camping, and playing pickleball. One of her proudest accomplishments is completing the West Coast Trail during her 2L summer. She also enjoys walking her dog Cookie, discovering new recipes on TikTok, and exploring Edmonton’s food scene, particularly Mexican and Italian cuisine.
As an Articling Student, Olivia gets hands-on experience in all our practice areas, helping her build and sharpen the practical skills needed to become a lawyer.
