Nate has represented clients in Alberta’s Court of King’s Bench and Court of Justice, maintaining a broad insurance litigation practice focused on construction, condominium law, personal injury and coverage matters. Nate takes a practical, business-oriented approach focused on ensuring his clients achieve a cost-effective and controlled result. He prides himself on fostering healthy working relationships with other counsel and providing timely advice to clients whenever they require.
His prior general litigation experience, including involvement in commercial, energy, professional liability, employment, and family disputes, informs his insurance practice on daily basis. Nate’s experience allows him to observe the broader picture while sustaining a clear focus on his client’s strategy and target outcomes.
In March 2026, Nate ran a trial as first chair in Alberta’s Court of Justice, defending a Condominium Corporation after one of its unit owners brought a claim alleging contraventions of the Condominium Property Act. Due to his efforts, the action was dismissed and costs were awarded in the Condominium Corporation’s favour.
Outside of work, Nate loves reading, taking care of his plants, and practicing yoga. He also enjoys playing video games, hiking, and traveling.
