Starting as a legal assistant, Ali was promoted to the role of Paralegal in November and in March 2024, after completing NCAs, he was able to secure an articling position with the firm.
During his fourth year at university, Ali worked as a Junior Assistant Editor for the media wing of Microsoft. His responsibilities included curating, proofreading, editing, and publishing articles on msn.com.
Ali is also volunteering at the Edmonton Community Legal Centre (ECLC), which provides free legal advice, advocacy, information, referral, and support when income poses a barrier to accessing justice. Outside of work, he enjoys horseback riding.

As an Articling Student, Ali gets hands-on experience in all our practice areas, helping him build and sharpen the practical skills needed to become a lawyer.
