Julia Pratt joined Brownlee LLP’s Insurance Litigation group in 2021 after completing her articles earlier in the year.
While studying law at the University of Alberta J.D. program, she competed in the Davies corporate/commercial moot in Toronto, and was a writing fellow for the Legal Research and Writing class.
Her previous volunteer work includes serving on a committee for the Women’s Law Forum that fundraised for Kindred House. The committee also hosted a speaker series focused on discussing the future of sex work in Canada. She also interned on the board of directors for the Citadel Theatre.
Julia was a competitive dancer for 14 years and was also a member of the University of Alberta Panda Bearristers rugby team. In addition, she enjoys travelling, running, seeing theatre productions, and watching Jeopardy!
