Jasreen’s practice spans a broad range of insurance defence matters, with particular expertise in motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall claims, occupiers’ liability, construction disputes and property damage. She also regularly advises and represents clients before administrative tribunals, including the Civil Resolution Tribunal, the Human Rights Tribunal and the Employment Standards Tribunal.
In addition, Jasreen acts for regulated professionals, such as naturopathic doctors and dentists, in disciplinary proceedings before their governing bodies. Her practice also encompasses disputes and claims under the Strata Property Act.
Jasreen is skilled in alternative dispute resolution and frequently employs mediation and negotiation strategies to achieve efficient settlements. She is adept at identifying opportunities to use the evidentiary record strategically to secure early resolutions and extricate her clients from ongoing litigation.
She has represented clients before both the Provincial Court and the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
Outside of her legal practice, Jasreen is committed to community service. She volunteers with the One World Medicine Clinic, supporting physicians in clinical research and assisting with medical camps in underserved villages in India.
Jasreen is an avid traveller who values immersion in diverse cultures. She also pursues personal development through language study, snowboarding and painting. Her multicultural background enhances her ability to connect with a wide range of clients and she is pleased to offer legal services in English, Punjabi, and Hindi.
