Dylan Muscat joined Brownlee LLP’s Corporate, Commercial, and Real Estate practice areas in September 2020.
Previously an associate at another Edmonton-area firm, Dylan said he joined Brownlee because of its prestige, the wealth of experience its lawyers have, and the diversity of its clients.
A 2014 graduate of the Canadian and American Dual J.D. Program at the University of Windsor and University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, he was called to the Bar in Alberta in 2015.
He first fell in love with the law while reading To Kill A Mockingbird in middle school, and has continued to enjoy the problem-solving and advocacy aspects of practicing. He hopes to one day mentor and train students as they graduate law school and embark on their own careers of practicing law.
When asked, Dylan offered a brief piece of professional advice for law students: “Read everything that crosses your desk, and ask questions.”
When not practicing law, he enjoys playing and watching hockey, travelling, cross country running and cycling, and spending time with his family.

WHY LAW
Ever since reading To Kill a Mockingbird in middle school, I knew I wanted to be a lawyer. I have a passion for advocacy, problem solving and innovation.
