Cody joined Brownlee’s Insurance Litigation Team after previously serving as in-house counsel for Oilers Entertainment Group and their related sports & entertainment, hospitality and real-estate entities. Prior to OEG, Cody maintained a broad litigation practice with a local law firm.
Born and raised in Edmonton, Cody completed his Bachelor of Commerce at MacEwan University before earning his Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta. Prior to attending law school, Cody worked in various capacities for a leading Engineering Procurement and Construction company in the oil and gas industry.
Growing up, when Cody wasn’t helping out at his family’s farm, he was playing a variety of sports and even spent time coaching midget hockey. These days, Cody enjoys attending local sporting events, live music shows and exploring Edmonton’s restaurant scene.
