Bryce is a lawyer in Brownlee’s Municipal Group. He works with municipalities, public bodies, and utility providers on a wide range of legal matters. His areas of focus include: agreements and contracting; development agreements and related infrastructure, servicing and cost recovery; governance matters; municipal bylaws; public land management; and utility regulation for both municipal and rural utilities.
He has also advised clients on privacy compliance and has completed the University of Alberta’s certificate program in Information Access and Protection of Privacy.
Bryce began his career with Brownlee as a summer student and later articled with the firm. He practiced in the municipal department from 2015 to 2020 before spending several years as a sole practitioner. He has since returned to Brownlee as an Associate.
He earned a Bachelor of Commerce with honours from the University of British Columbia in 2011 and a Juris Doctor with distinction from the University of Alberta in 2014.
Outside of work, Bryce enjoys travelling with friends and family, hiking, and spending time at the park with his dog, Daisy.
