Blaise Zak is a civil litigator with experience in commercial litigation, professional liability, general insurance defence, and subrogated claims, with a focus on personal injury and construction matters.
Before practicing law, Blaise worked as an apprentice plumber, giving him a practical understanding of the construction industry that informs his legal approach. He earned both his J.D. and a degree in Philosophy from the University of Calgary and was called to the Alberta Bar in 2024.
Blaise volunteers with Calgary Legal Guidance, including the Civil Claims Duty Counsel program. Outside of work, he’s been an avid rock climber since 2009.
