Bilaal is a litigation lawyer focused on insurance defense, commercial disputes, and construction law. He has experience handling cases in both court and arbitration, representing clients in various matters, including commercial, construction, and government-related disputes.
Bilaal has appeared before the Alberta Court of Appeal and worked on international arbitrations in the Middle East.
Bilaal also advises clients on how to avoid litigation and provides guidance on the procedural and substantive aspects of disputes. He has worked on business corporation claims, including derivative claims and oppression remedies, as well as labor and employment issues on both the employer and employee sides.
Bilaal graduated from the University of Alberta with a BA (Hons) in Sociology in 2017 and a JD in 2020. Outside of work, he’s a passionate soccer fan and player who supports Arsenal FC, and has an interest in watch collecting.
