Download vCardBanveet is an articling student at Brownlee LLP with a strong interest in insurance law and litigation. She previously worked in the insurance industry and is excited to build on that experience during her articles. The variety of issues that come up in insurance law is what draws her to the practice, and she hopes to continue in the field after articling.
She enjoys the problem-solving side of legal work, especially helping clients find practical solutions.
Although she didn’t summer at Brownlee, meeting the firm’s partners and associates at TRU networking events left a strong impression and influenced her decision to join the team.
At Thompson Rivers University, Banveet was actively involved in the student community. She volunteered as an ambassador, open house volunteer, upper-year mentor, orientation leader, and also supported the 1L moot program.
Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, kickboxing, reading with her book club, spending time with family and friends, and going on long walks.
As an Articling Student, Banveet gets hands-on experience in all our practice areas, helping her build and sharpen the practical skills needed to become a lawyer.
