Amrit joined Brownlee LLP in 2022 and focuses primarily on general insurance litigation. She brings a diverse background to her practice including experience in general civil and commercial litigation, personal injury, insurance defence, immigration, wills and estates.
Amrit’s dedication to exceptional service has led her to successfully representing clients before the Provincial and Supreme Court in British Columbia, as well as the Immigration Appeal Division. She has also assisted on several matters in the Court of Appeal of British Columbia.
With a client-centric approach, she also emphasizes the value of resolving matters through Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Amrit’s advice for first-year lawyers is to get in the Courtroom as much as possible. For a young lawyer, Chambers can be the best place to learn what to do or what not to do.
Outside of work, Amrit enjoys traveling, trying new cuisines and spending time with family and friends.
