Amanda Seymour-Skinner is a member of the Brownlee LLP team and specializes in insurance litigation. She holds a Bachelor of Communication Studies from MacEwan University, Edmonton, Alberta (2016), and a Juris Doctor from Bond University, Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia (2019).
During her composite articles, Amanda gained invaluable experience at both an international law firm, focusing on civil litigation, and a firm specializing in labor, employment, and human rights law. She remains committed to giving back to her community through her involvement with the Edmonton Community Legal Centre, initially as a volunteer during her articling period and now as a practicing lawyer.
Beyond her legal pursuits, Amanda is an avid runner, having completed one half marathon and currently training for her second. She also indulges her artistic side through acrylic painting, enjoys hiking in the river valley, experimenting with new recipes, and savoring a good cup of coffee.
