Ama is an associate in the business services and litigation group at Brownlee LLP. Her journey with Brownlee began in the summer of 2022 when she joined the firm as a student. Alongside her legal work, she actively volunteers with the University of Alberta’s Black Law Students’ Association as an alumni member and serves as a cantor at both St. Joseph’s Basilica and St. Albert Parish.
Outside of her professional and volunteer commitments, Ama is a Red Seal chef who enjoys experimenting with new recipes, particularly in baking. Each Remembrance Day, she crafts a lifelike, three-dimensional sugar flower cake.
Ama has a love for music, attends the symphony regularly, and is working on getting back to playing the piano. She’s also interested in musical theatre.

WHY LAW
The law touches our lives in so many conscious and unconscious ways. Navigating some of its components is a challenging yet rewarding experience that is constantly evolving. I love that the practice of law helps others to better situate themselves in that world order. With a love for debate and problem-solving, I find the study and practice of law simply fascinating.
