Alex Joined Brownlee LLP in 2026 she dispute resolution lawyer focused on insurance, civil, and commercial litigation. Where appropriate, she draws on her experience in alternative dispute resolution to resolve disputes practically and cost-effectively for her clients.
Before joining Brownlee, Alex worked at a recognized dispute resolution Bay Street boutique in Toronto and at a top-tier Swedish law firm, gaining experience across civil and commercial litigation, regulatory defence, and international arbitration. On Bay Street, she supported complex disputes involving breach of contract, fiduciary duties, officers and directors’ liability, shareholder and partnership disputes, injunctions, and arbitration-related court proceedings, as well as regulatory matters before the OSC and CIRO. she has also provided support in advising boards, organizations, and individual stakeholders on governance structures, decision-making processes, and resolving conflicts between governance instruments. In Sweden, I worked on complex international commercial and investor-state disputes.
Alex is committed to expanding access to justice and provide Pro Bono legal services to individuals and community organizations.
Outside of work, she enjoys painting and photography, exploring the outdoors, travelling to new places, and spending quality time with her family.
