Vance Siakaluk’s primary focus is in litigation, where he thrives on finding creative solutions to complex challenges.
Specifically, he practices commercial litigation and enforcement, construction, personal injury, debt collection, foreclosure and creditors’ rights, bankruptcy and insolvency, and wrongful dismissal.
“I love dealing with my clients and working with them towards resolving their disputes by settlement or litigation,” said Vance, who joined Brownlee LLP
in November 2020. “I love the challenge of arriving at creative solutions for their challenges.”
He has represented individuals, financial institutions, bankruptcy trustees, boards, and corporations, and is experienced in mediations, judicial dispute resolution. He has also appeared in the Provincial Court of Alberta, the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta, and the Court of Appeal of Alberta.
Vance said he sought to join Brownlee due to its historical and ongoing success and reputation for meeting client needs. He looks forward to continuing to assist his current clients with their litigation needs while establishing relationships with new clients.
Outside of practicing law, Vance has volunteered with the Boy Scouts of Canada, and is a bishop in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He’s also a big sports fan who enjoys golf, reading, and spending time with his family.
