CONNECT WITH ME

Marcia Downing’s knowledge of medical history has given her a unique perspective as a personal injury and insurance litigation lawyer for Brownlee LLP.

She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Science from the University of Alberta and worked at the Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital for a number of years before pursuing her law degree. In 2017, she graduated from the Schulich School of Law, articled and worked at a family and criminal law firm before joining the Brownlee team in Edmonton in 2019.

As a lawyer, she uses her knowledge of medical records and assessments to provide one-of-a-kind counsel to Brownlee clients. “I enjoy helping people and problem solving,” Marcia said. “I’m driven to provide my clients with the best possible outcome.”

Speaking about why she joined Brownlee, Marcia explained that “Our firm has years of experience serving clients and getting them the results they need. In addition, we care not only about our clients, but the community as well.”

Marcia’s community involvement includes volunteering with the Edmonton Community Legal Services, the St. Albert Food Bank and she is also a board member for the Edmonton Rugby Union. In fact, she is a big sports fan – she plays rugby, soccer, and floor hockey, as well as boxes, skates, and cross-country skis.
