Elizabeth joined our Commercial Litigation team at Brownlee’s Edmonton office in 2019 as a first-year associate shortly after receiving her call to the Bar.
Her area of focus includes construction disputes, foreclosures, and debt actions, but she also handles general commercial litigation matters.
“My favourite part of the law is untangling really snarled problems for clients,” she said. “The more complicated, the better.”
Prior to joining Brownlee, Elizabeth completed her articling at a smaller law firm in Edmonton. She joined the Commercial Litigation team at Brownlee because of the firm’s reputation in supporting not just clients, but in demonstrating teamwork among her peers.
“The collegiality that my colleagues show to one another is mirrored in the way we treat our clients,” she noted.
When not working, Elizabeth laces up her stakes and hits the ice with her hockey team and enjoys dominating her fantasy football league. She’s also a big television and film buff.
