Prior to joining Brownlee as an articling student in 2019, Adam was employed by the Government of Alberta. In that role he became familiar with Brownlee LLP though several legislative- and municipal-based initiatives.
Previously, Adam participated in the Planning Law course instructed by Brownlee lawyers through the Faculty of Extension at the University of Alberta. Subsequent to pursuing a legal career, he first joined Brownlee as a summer student in 2017.
He has volunteered as a panel member at the Edmonton Youth Justice Committee Society, and during his time at law school he volunteered as an administrative law caseworker at Osgoode’s Community and Legal Aid Services Program. In addition, he participated in the school’s Environmental Justice and Sustainability Clinic.
Away from the office, Adam can be found riding his bicycle, hiking, and exploring different areas of Alberta. He also enjoys camping, participating in a variety of sports, and drinking tea.
As a student-at-law Adam has the pleasure of working in a variety of practice areas at Brownlee LLP.

I chose law because after working in public service, I saw law as a useful and interesting mechanism to help individuals and organizations meet their goals.
