Adam joined Brownlee’s municipal practice group after articling with the firm in 2019/2020. He maintains a broad municipal practice, with an increasing focus on planning and development matters.

Adam’s interest in municipal administration and governance began while working with the Ministry of Municipal Affairs, prior to pursuing a legal career. This past experience gives Adam a unique perspective on municipal issues and knowledge covering a wide array of legislation. Adam is currently a Candidate Member of the Alberta Professional Planners Institute.

During his time at law school Adam volunteered as an administrative law caseworker at Osgoode’s Community and Legal Aid Services Program and participated in the school’s Environmental Justice and Sustainability Clinic. Adam has also previously volunteered as a panel member at the Edmonton Youth Justice Society.

Away from the office you can often find Adam riding his bicycle, hiking, and exploring different areas of our province.
