Leah graduated with distinction from the University of Alberta Law School in 2001. She articled with the Alberta Court of Appeal and Court of Queen’s Bench, then worked with Brownlee LLP from 2002-2006. From 2007-2012 she worked as a Chief Compliance Officer and an
Associate General Counsel & Assistant Corporate Secretary for two utility companies, and as an Ethics and Compliance Officer for a pipeline company. She attended the University of Oxford and graduated with a Master of Studies in International Human Rights Law and returned
to Brownlee LLP in 2018 as an Associate and Research Lawyer.
In her spare time Leah loves reading books, playing a variety of sports, practicing yoga, and walking her dogs. She is married with three children.
