Jenaye joined Brownlee LLP as a summer student in 2017, and subsequently accepted a position as an Articling Student, commencing in 2019. Prior to earning her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Alberta, Jenaye completed a Bachelor of Arts degree double-majoring in English and Women’s and Gender Studies.
During law school, Jenaye was actively involved in a wide variety of student groups and initiatives, including the Mental Health and Wellness Club, the Women’s Law Forum, Law Show, and intramural sports.
Jenaye joined Brownlee’s business group as an associate after completing her articles with the firm. She carries on a general practice of corporate and commercial law advising clients in both the private and public sectors.
Volunteered for Student Legal Services of Edmonton, a non-profit society run by law students providing legal assistance to low-income members of the Edmonton community.
I chose law for the opportunity to aid and positively impact others, as well as the opportunity for greater personal, academic, and professional growth.
