Anatoliy practices in Brownlee LLP’s Litigation Group. He represents international and domestic insurance companies in matters involving large scale property losses, personal injuries, business interruption losses and coverage issues. Anatoliy has developed a particular expertise in multi-party cross-boarder litigation in product liability cases and matters involving fires and floods. He is known for his in-depth analysis of evidence and law, as well as coming up with cost-effective solutions to his clients’ dispute resolution needs. His strong background in
information technology, including law tech and eDiscovery, makes him particularly valuable to companies facing document intensive disputes. While always ready and willing to take matters before the Court, his philosophy is that most disputes can and should be solved through negotiations between the parties.
Prior to joining Brownlee LLP, Anatoliy worked at a boutique personal injury firm in Calgary, where he represented clients who suffered catastrophic personal injuries as a result of motor vehicle
collisions and defective products. He also spent a year negotiating better conditions of detention for detainees in Kyrgyzstan on behalf of an international humanitarian organization, and was a member of two legal teams at an international criminal tribunal.
When not solving complex issues of causation and damages, you can find Anatoliy summiting peaks in the beautiful Canadian Rockies, training for his next triathlon and appreciating fine art in galleries around the world.
